Last Call
Joe Konrath here.

My ninth Jack Daniels book, RUM RUNNER, is out today. You can grab an ebook on Amazon here.

If you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription, you'll be able to read it for free.

Also available today is WATCHED TOO LONG, co-written with my long time collaborator Ann Voss Peterson. This one features some of the characters from RUM RUNNER and takes place during the same 24 hour period.

Tom Mankowski, the hero of my novels THE LIST and HAUNTED HOUSE, returns in WEBCAM. It's now available for preorder and will be released April 15, on tax day. But this is even scarier than doing taxes...

And if that isn't already too much Joe Konrath, the long awaited Jack Daniels/Luther Kite finale, LAST CALL is coming out on May 25, and is also available to pre-order.

To celebrate all of these new releases, the first eight novels in the Jack Daniels series are all two bucks or less. This includes the Jack Daniels novel I co-wrote with Jude Hardin, LADY 52.

Now how about some quick Q & A?

Q: When will paper versions and audio versions of these books be released?

A: Soon. Paper and audio take longer to create than ebooks, and should be live about a month after the publication date.

Q: Why are these only on Amazon?

A: Currently there are more Kindle Unlimited subscribers than there are readers using all the other ebook platforms. I'm trying to reach the most readers, and that means being exclusive with Amazon. Amazon has a free Kindle app for all smartphones, tablets, and computers.

Q: I read on your blog that RUM RUNNER, WATCHED TOO LONG, and WEBCAM all interconnect. Do I have to read them all?

A: As a fun experiment I decided to make all three books take place at the same time, and characters from each story appear in the other stories. Each book is a standalone and can be read without reading the others. There are no spoilers or cliffhangers. But I think fans who read all three will get a kick out of the gimmick.

Q: Is WATCHED TOO LONG a Jack Daniels book?

A: Jack is in it. So is Harry. It's technically part of the Val Ryker thriller series, which is written by Ann Voss Peterson. If you like Jack and Harry, they also show up in Ann's books, and in our Codename: Chandler series.

Speaking of Codename: Chandler, I have three paperback sets of the trilogy to give away (FLEE, SPREE, THREE). Winners will randomly be picked by responding to this email with this written in the header: THE CHANDLER SERIES HAS TOO MUCH GRAPHIC SEX.

So all you have to do to enter for a chance to win is to hit reply, and type: THE CHANDLER SERIES HAS TOO MUCH GRAPHIC SEX, in the email subject line.

Warning: the Chandler series has too much graphic sex in it. Don't say I didn't warn you.

If you win, I'll email you next week asking you for your address to send the free books. I'll even sign them for you. Contest ends March 31, 2016.

Until next time, thanks for reading!
